UMT 1
The Woodward UMT 1 is a measuring transducer for true RMS values. The Woodward UMT 1 can measure an electrical three-phase system with current and voltage measuring inputs. The primary measured values are calculated and displayed on the two-line, 16 character LC Display, and also transmitted by either analog outputs (configurable as -20 to 20 mA, 0 to 20 mA, or 4 to 20 mA) or a communication interface to a higher level-control system.
The primary measured values of voltage and current are used to calculate the values for real, reactive, and apparent power, power factor (cosphi), kWh, and kVarh. The kWh and kVarh can be also be transmitted by using an impulse output. |

TUG 4
The Woodward TUG 4 series temperature monitoring unit is designed to accept up to 16 PT100 RTD inputs for the direct measuring of temperatures. Two individually configurable trip levels can be programmed for each sensor. Upon reaching each of these configured levels will energize an alarm relay and a shutdown relay accordingly. Resetting a tripped relay occurs when the measured value returns within range including a hysteresis. An additional alarm relay is provided for a wire break fault.
A two line LC display shows the configured names of the analog measuring inputs. If an alarm occurs, an alarm message is be displayed, as well as the value of the input that caused the alarm.
A communication interface can be used to transmit all measuring values, and trip levels to a PC or PLC where additional evaluation can be done. |

IKD 1
The Woodward IKD 1 is an "Intelligent Terminal" or "Extension Board". It allows an additional 8 discrete inputs and 8 relay outputs to be connected, via CAN bus, to other Woodward products such as the GCP-30 Series controller (with Option SC06). It is possible to connect up to two IKD 1 units to one GCP-30 .
A two line LC display shows the configured names of the analog measuring inputs.
Each of the inputs can be assigned a name, alarm class, NO/NC configuration and time delay. The name and class are then displayed on the controller face digital readout panel.
The Woodward IKD 1 output relays are controlled over the CAN bus connection from the main controller (e.g. GCP-30 Series). Configuration of the Woodward IKD 1 is performed through the relay manager in the main controller and transmitted to the IKD 1.
A direct configuration cable (DPC) and software can be purchased for use with a PC or laptop and may be advisable for extensive configuration applications or where several similar units are to be set up.
