Custom Classes

Classes from our standard curriculum can be reserved for the dates and individual class size of your choice or classes can be completely customized to include your installed equipment. English and Spanish instructors available. Attendees are eligible for CEU credits or Professional Development hours. 30-day advance notice requested to book your custom class.

Sample Custom Classes

Choose from a selection of specialized classes from mechanical governors and actuators to upper level electronic controls. We have assisted companies with custom training on a range of Woodward products, including: Mechanical Governors, UG, PSG & PG governors/actuators, PGG200, EGB58P, EG3P, PGA, L-series speed controls, 828 electronic controls, etc.

Mechanical Governors / Actuators

UG, PSG and PG

This course will give you the opportunity to learn more about the Woodward UG, PSG and PG governor. During the course you will learn about the theory, installation, operation and maintenance of regulators with the help of some models.  Practical training includes some assembly and adjustment of regulators in our workshop.

UG Actuator

In this course you will get information on specifications technical equipment, technical requirements for Woodward UG actuator installation and operation, adjustment points and their functions, diagram blocks, plumbing drawing and preventive maintenance. Using a test stand, you will make any necessary adjustments for the correct operation of equipment.

Schaller Oil Mist Detection System VN115/87PLUS and VN215/87PLUS

This course includes theory, functionality, description and components of VISATRON device and background about the formation of Oil Mist in the crankcase compartment, interaction between engine functionality.  Measuring principles and opacity will be covered plus practical training, maintenance, installation, troubleshooting as well as industry regulations.
