EGCP-3 Control for Medium and Large Generators

DSLC Digital Synchronizer & Load Control
The Woodward DSLC control is a microprocessor-based synchronizer and load control designed for use on three-phase AC generators equipped with Woodward or other compatible speed controls and compatible automatic voltage regulators. The Woodward DSLC control is a synchronizer, a load sensor, a load control, a dead bus closing system, and optionally a VAR/PF and process control, all integrated into one powerful, yet convenient package.

SPC Servo Position Controller
The Woodward Servo Position Controller (SPC) is a servo-valve driver that accepts a DeviceNet or 4-20 mA based position demand signal from a system controller, and accurately positions proportional or integrating servo-valves. The Woodward SPC has the required accuracy, responsiveness, and redundancy required for steam or gas turbine fuel valve control. For valve position sensing, the SPC accepts feedback signals from one or two (redundant) ac devices or one dc device. A Windows based software program is used to configure the Woodward SPC, adjust tunables, and monitor parameters via a personal computer. For ease of service, SPC configurations can be done while connected or disconnected to the unit. Once a configuration has been created, this program allows configurations to be uploaded and downloaded to other SPCs as desired.

SPM-D
The Woodward SPM-D is a micro processor based synchronizer designed for use on three phase AC generators equipped with Woodward or other compatible speed controls and automatic voltage regulators. Woodward’s SPM–D synchronizer provides automatic frequency, phase and voltage matching using either analog or discrete output bias signals (depending on model). The SPM-D digitally measures true rms values ensuring measurement accuracy — maintaining integrity against harmonics, transients, or power spikes.

GAP Graphical Application Programmer
Woodward's Graphical Application Programmer (GAP) is a Windows based software program that allows controls engineers to create block format application programs for a number of Woodward control systems. Once the control logic is entered using the program's graphical programming environment, the GAP software compiler function generates code that runs in the control. GAP software blocks are written in C code, which is a transportable language, allowing it to be used on many different hardware platforms. Because of this feature, the same control logic software that has been used and proven in thousands of controls is available for use in the creation of future controllers, without introducing system bugs.

Monitor GAP Graphical Application Programmer
Woodward's Monitor GAP is a licensed software service tool that allows service personnel to view and edit runtime values for GAP (Graphical Application Program) generated application software. GAP software is Woodward's pictures-to-code programming tool. This programming system uses libraries of control objects that are connected together in a graphical format. The final control design is displayed as a group of interconnected blocks that represent the actual functionality of the code running in the control hardware. Woodward's Monitor GAP works in parallel with the GAP graphical display and superimposes the actual runtime values on that display. The user is then able to see directly all control values-true/false for Boolean variables and numeric values for real or integer variables. In addition, Woodward's Monitor GAP can edit variables that have been previously declared as 'tunable' in the original GAP design. The basic GAP editor includes Monitor GAP within its core structure. As such, Woodward's Monitor GAP software need only be activated by installation of the GAP Editor/Monitor software and license authorization of the Monitor GAP features.
