Single Extraction, back pressure Steam Turbine Control
The prime mover is a Dresser Rand controlled single extraction, back-pressure turbine, coupled to a EM water cooled synchronous generator, running at 3600rpm and producing 17.9MW.
Governor Control Systems Inc., has been contracted to provide a new digital turbine governing system. The new control system has been designed to provide a fully integrated control system for a Single Auto Extraction Steam Turbine.
The aim of the integrate turbine control system is provide all control and safety function for the turbine in one fully integrated package.
