Integrated compressor control system increases reliability, reduces downtime

Project Overview
A compressor system was developed to allow local and remote operator control and monitoring to manage the functions of a motor or a gas engine or both.  By upgrading compressor set controls with remote monitoring capabilities, the operator of gas compression stations can obtain the necessary data to perform timely repairs, reducing maintenance costs and station downtime.

Customer/Control System Benefits
The customer can successfully run the systems at remote gas compression stations, often under harsh environmental conditions. The compressors are started/stopped, alarms indicated and system data (temperature, etc.) from another location.  Frequent field maintenance is no longer required, allowing maintenance to be scheduled on a regular basis.  Maintenance costs and downtime are significantly reduced.
