Turbocharger Bypass Valves

Flo-Tech ITB Valve
The Woodward Flo-Tech ITB integrated throttle (butterfly) valve and actuator is designed for direct replacement of conventional turbocharger bypass valves with actuator and linkage. The valve body will provide equivalent maximum flow rates of standard butterfly valve bodies of the same diameter. TheWoodward Flo-Tech integrated actuator/valve body requires no actuator or linkage.

ProAct ITB Integrated Throttle Body
The Woodward ProAct ITB integrated throttle bodies are butterfly valves electrically-actuated by ProAct Analog and ProAct Digital Plus actuators to control flow output. With bore sizes of 105 mm, 120 mm, and 135 mm, these Woodward ProAct ITBs are designed for use with engines in the 1-2 MW range. The Woodward ProAct actuators are electro-magnetic, 75 degree-of-travel devices, and therefore alleviate the problems associated with linkages on gas engines (such as setup, non-linearity, and wear).

Power Flow Integrated Valve Actuator
The Woodward Power Flow is an integrated valve actuator designed for throttling the intake of internal combustion engines. The system is designed to couple to standard market-available fuel mixer series and to standard SAE flanged intake manifolds. Standard models include the PF 31, PF 38, PF 42, PF 50, and PF 60, covering an air/fuel flow range of 125 to 475 ft³/min (3.5 to 13.4 m³/min). This integrated throttle body is adaptable to a fuel injected engine for air control.
