723 PLUS Digital Speed Control

Woodward 723PLUS control is a configurable control for prime movers. Both the hardware and software will be covered in class. During the course, programming/monitoring with Woodward Watch Window will be done and a closed loop simulation will be available.
Description
This class will provide the opportunity to learn more about the Woodward 723PLUS digital control.
Both hardware and software will be covered. Programming, monitoring, and adjustment of the control will be demonstrated using Watch Window and Hand-Held Programmer. The control will be operated using a closed loop test set to simulate an engine.
Objectives The goal of this course is to provide a foundation in governor control and power generation theory as applicable to the 723PLUS digital control. At the conclusion of the training session, the student should be able to install, program, and operate the 723PLUS digital control.
